Here are some books that I believe will help
you grow in your Christian walk.  While I
recommend these books, I am not saying
that I agree with everything in them.  I
challenge you to be like the noble Bereans
(Acts 17:10-11) who tested everything
according to the Scriptures.  Keep
checking back.  This page will be updated
from time to time.
(New books added 11/10/07.)

The Master's Plan For The Church
(Moody Press),  John MacArthur has done
an excellent job explaining from the Scriptures
the plan that God has ordained for the local
church.  He teaches what the Bible says
about elders, deacons, women's roles, church
discipline, preaching, etc.

The Cup and the Glory- Lessons on Suffering
and the Glory of God
, (Kress Publications), Greg
Harris is a faithful teacher of God's Word.  More
importantly, he faithfully lives what he teaches.
When I took his seminary classes, I got more
than academics, I also got practical lessons
about trusting God's character.  This book will
help you to see that God is being righteous,
loving and kind toward us even while He is

allowing us to suffer.  I have learned much
about Christ from my friend, Dr. Harris, and I
am happy that this book has been published
so that you can learn from him too.

Fool's Gold- Discerning the Truth in an Age of Error,
(Crossway Books), John MacArthur and the
several of the pastors on the Grace Community
Church staff have done an outstanding job
addressing the errant theology lurking in many
popular Christian books. There are also other
helpful articles on altar calls and worship music.
A must read for today's Christian.
