For who has depised the day of small things?
— Zechariah 4:10

This is a newly formed congregation that God has assembled to exalt His Son Jesus Christ – the One whose death and resurrection gives us peace with God and the hope of heaven. We desire to grow a mature body of believers that disciple one another and will intentionally go out into our community, and ultimately the world, to reach others with the saving message of the Gospel.

We are a Grace Advance church plant (a ministry of Dr. John MacArthur’s church) in Lower Bucks County, PA located between Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ along the beautiful Delaware River.

"Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding." (Jer 3:15)

March 24th ~ Dr. Scott Basolo, Communion Sunday

March 31st ~ Dr. Scott Basolo and informal Question and Answer with Pastor Scott after the service.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Scott Basolo has officially and joyfully accepted an invitation to be our Pastor and Shepherd.  In this Godly man, the Lord has provided us more abundantly than all we asked or prayed for.  He is a true shepherd and it is evident that the Lord has uniquely gifted him for this position.

Our prayer has been for the Lord to send us a pastor that is trained to mine the depths of God’s Word. Scott preaches with conviction and confidence that the inspired Word of God is so profound that it will never be exhausted and that the gospel is the power of God for salvation and sanctification.  Dr. Basolo attended The Master’s Seminary, completed a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Expository Preaching, a Masters of Theology with an emphasis in Bible Exposition and a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Expository Preaching.

Isn’t God good to provide a man whose education is an answer to our specific prayer!

In recent years, he has held the positions of Senior Pastor at churches in Santa Clarita, CA and Mobile, AL, Director of Admissions for the Master’s Seminary, adjunct faculty at The Master’s University, Superintendent of a local Christian school, as well as elder at Grace Community Church under the leadership of Dr. John MacArthur.

He will officially begin to serve as our pastor on March 3.   Until then, we have some excellent teachers coming in to fill the pulpit during the month of February. This is listed in the “Upcoming” section of our Home Page.

Providentially, and in the Lord’s perfect timing, our second big announcement is that we have moved our Sunday service to a beautiful and spacious location – the Northampton Senior Center 165 Township Road Richboro, PA 18954. Google map

This move will necessitate a temporary change of time for our Worship Service.  Beginning now until the end of May or hopefully sooner, we will hold our Sunday worship service from 3:30-4:45 PM.  On or before June 2 we will then return to our normal morning hours – Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Worship at 11:00 AM.

For those of you who do not have an evening service at your home church, we would love to have you visit to see how the Lord has provided in answer to your prayers on our behalf.

As we continue taking small steps of faith, we would be so grateful for your prayers and encouragement.  We invite you to follow the church on Facebook to receive updates on this journey.  Please pray for us as we occasionally have days that we need to be reminded of how far the Lord has brought us in this last year and to patiently wait on his perfect timing in all that needs to be accomplished in the months ahead.  There is much work and many expenses to meet, yet He has shown us that as we remain faithful to His providential guidance, He will provide.  He alone will build His church.  It is all of Him!

All Praise to Him who is Faithful.
Jeremiah 3:15

“We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.”

— Colossians 1:28

3:30-5:00 Worship Service

(We will transition back to morning services in May)

Please see Pastor Scott’s weekly letter in preparation for the upcoming worship service here.

We welcome you to join us for one of our small group Bible studies.  These groups meet in The Loft on a private property in Newtown, PA.

"There is an exploding interest on the part of true Christians committed to Scripture to develop churches that are biblically sound. GA (Grace Advance) was established in an effort to respond to this groundswell. Through the ministry of GA, churches are connected with pastors that have been vetted by experienced church planters and church leaders. These pastors are then placed in the church through the counsel and ongoing partnership of men from Grace Advance that are assigned to provide ongoing counsel and support to the church plant."
