We have agreed to submit to the leadership and oversight of two elders,  representing the elder board, from Grace Community Church until a pastor has been installed and Biblically-qualified elders have been appointed.

The purpose of this off-site leadership team is not only to provide oversight in the process of examining and recognizing new elders in the church (1 Tim 5:22; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Tim 3:1–7), but also to provide assistance in areas such as vision, doctrinal clarity, and philosophy of ministry.

”The Primary task of the Church and the Christian minister is the preaching of the Word of God.”

Core Team Leadership

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of our new church plant, including oversight of the Bible studies and Sunday morning worship.

Paul Marshall

Paul grew up in a Christian home and in 1979 following a week long Christian Retreat, he trusted Christ and committed his life to the Lord.  God began to reshape his priorities and strengthen his family life.  He instilled in him a deep desire for prayer, inductive Bible study and Christian fellowship.

Paul is thankful for the many opportunities God has provided to enable him to grow spiritually and to serve in ministry in the local church.  In the his past, he has served both as an elder and deacon, and has taught Men’s Bible Studies and currently leads an adult small group.   He often spends time with men over coffee mentoring them in their spiritual journey and encouraging them to be faithful husbands, fathers and to manage their homes with Godly principles.

Paul graduated from Temple University with a degree in Business Administration and worked professionally at Johnson & Johnson for 26 years. He retired several years ago and established a consulting business for medical device manufacturers.  His hobbies include reading, woodworking and pickleball.  He and his wife, Carol, have 3 grown children and eight grandchildren.

John Selman

John was raised in a Christian home and was regularly exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However in God’s perfect timing, it wasn’t until 2005 that He chose to reveal Himself to John during a sermon series on salvation.  The power of the Gospel and God’s grace transformed John, testifying to the truth of the words contained in Holy Scripture.  John has served as an elder, and small group leader and has a passion for studying God’s word and for mentoring and discipling others.

John has worked in the mining and heavy construction industry for 39 years and is currently working as VP of Equipment for a company located in northern New Jersey.

John and his wife Susan have lived in Bucks County since 1981. They have been blessed with two married children and three grandchildren that are all walking with the Lord.  John enjoys fishing, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.

Scott Moses

Scott had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and regularly attended church where he was taught and exposed to the Bible. While making a profession of faith in Christ at an early age, he came to true saving faith and repentance in his mid twenties understanding more fully the work of Christ on the cross for his sin.  Since that time Scott has desired a deeper understanding of Scripture and has lead and been a part of Bible studies desiring to grow himself and others in maturity in Christ.

In the past, Scott has served in many  ministry roles in the church including elder, deacon and oversight of the Finance Committee. Scott has worked at a financial services company in NJ for over 24 years and is currently a Data Compliance Product Specialist. He and his wife Laura have lived in the area since they were married. They have three children who have been home schooled for the past 12 years. Their two daughters are currently at school in California and their son is a 10th grader.

Scott enjoys caring for his home and property and is often involved in a landscaping or home improvement project.   He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys staying physically fit especially as he tries to keep up with his son on the basketball court.
